What are you passionate about?
Sport and family. Basketball has become a big part of my life – I play, coach and now spend weekends watching my son referee. If you’d asked me five years ago, I would’ve said AFL was my favourite sport but after more than two decades of “mixed” results it’s been hard to remain loyal.
Outside of sport, I love spending time with my family. I’ve got two kids (14 and 12) who are growing up fast, and as lazy as they can be at times, I really value the time we spend together as a family.
What do you love about your job?
Helping suppliers and retailers see things they hadn’t yet seen. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching someone connect the dots on a problem they’ve been trying to solve for days or weeks, and realising the insight gives them a clear way forward.
How does what we do benefit the industry?
We shine a light on what really matters – execution. By bringing clarity to how categories are activated in-store and pre-store, we help facilitate more collaborative, informed conversations between suppliers and retailers, which ultimately drives better outcomes and value creation for all involved.
